Thor has been in the business for 10 years and has worked at several leading shops in the Rochester area and is the owner of Violent Vanity Tattoo. He is extremely passionate about his art and his craft. Thor is very talented and can design you exactly what you are looking for. He is also patient and very helpful to customers who have never been inked before, taking care to explain the process and what can be expected. He is also serious about health, cleanliness and safety concerns and he will ensure you are comfortable and satisfied with your new tattoo before, during and afterward. When you leave, he will provide you with great post-tat care guidelines. If you have ink already and you're not happy with it, see what Thor can do to modify or cover up that old tattoo to make it something you are proud to have on your body.

Terms of Service
Important Information about booking an appointment:
Thank you for your interest in booking a tattoo appointment with us. Before you book an appointment, please carefully review our Terms of Service. This will help us efficiently accommodate as many people as we can. Once you have read the Terms of Service, please fill completely fill out the form. Failure to do so may result in either a delayed response or no response at all. Upon receiving your booking request form, we will review it and respond to you as soon as possible. Please allow up to a week for a response. If you have not received a response within a week of submitting the form, you may send another. Please double check to make sure your contact information is correct to ensure we can contact you. Appointments are set by the Artist and are based on workload, current schedules and the amount of preparation time and overall time required to complete the job.
Artwork and Deposits:
Artwork is prepared just prior to the upcoming appointment. Please do not ask to see artwork in advance of the appointment. We do not send artwork to any client. Violent Vanity owns all the artwork that it creates or modifies. If the design needs minor modification, it will be discussed and modified at the appointment. If major design changes are required, then a new subsequent appointment may need to be scheduled to accommodate the additional time it may take, and this may be subject to an additional deposit. Please know that the preparation of artwork and design is time-consuming, and it is covered by the deposit. Therefore, please know that the deposit is non-refundable, however it is applied towards the final price of the tattoo.
The deposit for a tattoo appointment is $100. This must be paid upfront. We accept cash, Paypal and Venmo. Please note: If using Venmo for the deposit, the cost is $105. In the event of a no-call, no-show to an appointment, your deposit and time slot will be forfeited. If you wish to make another appointment with us, the cost will be $200 to reschedule. After a second no-call, no-show, your deposit and time slot will again be forfeited, and you will not be rescheduled. So, if you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment or you will lose your deposit!
Please be On-Time!!!
Appointments require you to be in the shop at the time of the appointment. You are given a 15-minute window for arrival. If you arrive later than the 15-minute window, you will forfeit your deposit and time slot. If proper notice has been provided to us that you will miss or need to change the appointment, your deposit will be applied to a new appointment. This is a one-time deal. A second appointment that is changed or missed will forfeit both the deposit and the time slot. A third reschedule will require a new deposit. Multiple appointment misses and/or changes may result in the termination of the business relationship.
Please Reschedule if You are Sick or Have Sunburn or Have Children With You.
If you are sick or are sunburned in the area of the potential tattoo, please notify us ASAP and do not show up at the appointment. Please do not bring children into the shop. Although the shop is clean, it is not the place for sick people or children. We cannot tattoo damaged skin as this will affect healing and the outcome of the tattoo.
